Our house is covered in hooks, including two hooks in the roof in our bedroom. We found the most delightful wooden + wire hot air balloon (similar style to those vintage style bird cages you see around the place) that I would have loved to have hung from the ceiling, but we were wise little shoppers and saved our pennies instead.
So in its place, I made a origami crane mobile. I folded the cranes from pretty paper, threaded them onto sewing thread and tied them to a stick I found in our garden.
Sitting in that chair and watching them slowly twist in the breeze was the most calming moment of last week.
So inspired by this! Some of my favorite colours and the photos make it look so peaceful (:
