34Hearing that Jesus had silenced the Sadducees, the Pharisees got together. 35One of them, an expert in the law, tested him with this question:
36“Teacher, which is the greatest commandment in the Law?” 37Jesus replied: ” ‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’[b] 38This is the first and greatest commandment. 39And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’[c] 40All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments.”
If I accept you as you are, I will make you worse; however if I treat you as though you are what you are capable of becoming, I help you become that.

Out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks.

Speak when you are angry and you will make the best speech you will ever regret.
2 Don’t copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think. Then you will learn to know God’s will for you, which is good and pleasing and perfect.
Handle them carefully, for words have more power than atomic bombs.
Speech is the mirror of the soul; as a man speaks, so he is.
By swallowing evil words unsaid, no one has ever harmed his stomach.
Great minds talk about ideas, Average minds talk about things, Small minds talk about other people.
Those who are lifting the world upward and onward are those who encourage more than criticize.
– Elizabeth Harrison
As water reflects a face, so a man’s heart reflects the man.
We who lived in concentration camps can remember the men who walked through the huts comforting others, giving away their last piece of bread. They may have been few in number, but they offer sufficient proof that everything can be taken from a man but one thing: the last of the human freedoms — to choose one’s attitude in any given set of circumstances, to choose one’s own way.
– Victor Frankl
